20 Meals For March

Having the meals list was definitely the way to go this month. I had a lot of flexibility and didn't burn myself out over making meals. Not having Saturday and Sunday planned suited my need to stay spontaneous. Over structure gets under my skin after a few days. We ate left-overs and a few times others cooked for us!

I wanted to mention that quite often when we make a plan, adventures and sabatogers lurk near by. Therefore in the back of my mind I have a few emergency meals...and they probably aren't going to be made with soaked grains, but, do I kill myself soaking grains or kill myself because I don't? Sorry, this is my personal dilemma, and I offer no solution. Anyhow, we ate pancakes with applesauce a couple of times and dry crusts of bread and water a few more. But for the most part, the plan did us good.

And as well, we've cut our cheese, butter (and other oils),  and all other dairy (Some completely out- like cream cheese & sour cream) intake by 75%, butter. This is good. I also challenged myself to stop all sweets, even honey. I have some stevia drops but I am learning to enjoy my tea without anything. Next on my list of to-goes is...coffee.
